Editing a Task
Any Posting or Service task can be edited to update the status, date, technician and details. To make changes to a task, click on it from the list of Tasks.
From this screen, you can click the Edit button() to make changes to the appropriate information. After you make the desired changes, click Update
Assigning a Technician
You can assign a technician by going to an individual task and selecting them. If you wish to assign multiple tasks to the same technician, you can update multiple tasks.
Changing the Due Date
You can change the Due Date for an individual task and changing it. If you wish to change the date for multiple tasks, you can update multiple tasks.
Update Multiple Tasks
You can click the selection box to the left of the desired tasks and then click the Update button () in the top right corner.
After selecting Update, you have the option to modify the dates for these tasks, or to assign a technician. Click the appropriate item to change and update as appropriate.
Completing a Task
If you wish to manually mark a single task complete, you can go to the task and click the Complete button () in the top right corner. This should only be done if you are not using the Operations App to complete the task.
You can also click the selection box to the left of the desired tasks and then click the Complete button () in the top right corner. You will be prompted to confirm the date and technician to use.
Reopening a Task
To Reopen a task, find the task(s) you wish to reopen. This may involve having to update any applied filter to see Completed Tasks.
After you find your completed task, you can go to the task and click the Reopen button () in the top right corner.
You can also click the selection box to the left of the desired tasks and then click the Reopen button () in the top right corner.
