Map Bookings

Booking and releasing locations can be done from the map page of a campaign.

From the campaign click on the Map icon  in the top right corner.  If the campaign has any bookings they will be displayed otherwise the map will not be populated and the Bookings layer will state No items were found.

If you wish to return to the list of bookings, click on the GoTo Campaign icon.

Adding Candidate Locations

To add Candidates to the map click on the Add layer icon in the bottom right corner.  This will open the Add Candidates layer page.  From here you can change the name of the layer; by default it is Candidates, and change the push pin icon colour.  It also shows the start date from the campaign, a default length of time of 4 weeks if no duration has been entered for the campaign, spots, product and segment as well as the choices to ignore holds, booked and restrictions.

You can modify the date information if necessary.  For static inventory leave the number of Spots as 1.  For digital inventory enter the number spots required for the campaign.  Optionally, you can choose to ignore holds by changing the slider, ignore booked by changing the slider, ignore restrictions by changing the slider, the product and if digital the segment.  When done click the Add layer icon in the bottom right corner. 

The map will display all the candidates that meet that criteria. 

You can zoom in and out of the map using the standard tools available in Google Maps.  If you want to get back to the original view showing all bookings, click on the Show All icon .

You can change the Bookings and Candidates layer by clicking on the Layers icon  then click on either the applicable layer.  You can change the name, icon and filters by clicking on the appropriate Edit icon .  Once you have made the changes click on Update to save. 

To remove a candidate layer click on the Layers icon  then click on the Remove icon .

Booking

To book a location click on a candidate icon.  This will either display a popup with information about the location

 

or if there are more than one location in that part of the map

 

it will disperse the icons allowing you to choose the location you wish to book.

 

To release a booking click on the location to be removed and then click on Release.   

The location will be removed from the campaign.  The location does not refresh to appear as a candidate. 

Another method of booking from the map is to choose the location in the candidate list on the left of the map. 

Then click on Book to assign it to the campaign.

This also works to remove a booking from a campaign.  Choose the location from the list on the left of the map then click on Release to remove it from the campaign.
