The Bookings tab displays any locations that have been scheduled to this campaign.
Scheduling
To chart a campaign, click on the bookings tab then click on the Add icon in the lower right corner.
This will display a page that shows the start date from the campaign, a default length of time of 4 weeks if no duration has been entered for the campaign, spots, product and segment as well as the choices to ignore holds and ignore booked.
You can modify the date information if necessary. For static inventory leave the number of Spots as 1. For digital inventory enter the number spots required for the campaign. Optionally, you can choose to ignore holds by changing the slider, ignore booked by changing the slider, the product and if digital the segment. When done click the Search icon in the lower right corner.
The list will show you all inventory that is available based on the information entered.
For example, if you did not choose a product then both digital and static inventory will be listed.
From this list you can chart by selecting a single candidate location or multiple locations.
Single candidate location
Clicking on one location will display the details page of that inventory item. You are also able to see the scheduling history of this location by clicking on the Timeline page.
To chart this item click the Book icon in the lower right corner.
You will get a pop up showing the campaigns dates and number of spots, the booking's flexibility, the desired status and the option to Wait-list if overbooked.
You can change the dates and spots, if digital, if needed.
If Booked or On hold are chosen for the status then Wait-list is overbooked is an option.
Flexibility allows you to specify whether a booking is to be considered fixed, movable or pre-emptible, which can be useful if you are scheduling future campaigns and a client wants specific locations that are already booked.
On hold means it will assign the location(s) to the campaign with a hold until the date and time specified (3 business day hold is the default). After which time the location's status will change to proposal.
Wait-list if overbooked will assign the location(s) to the campaign on the condition that it's status will change to booked or hold if a spot becomes available depending on the initial status chosen. Conditions of this availability could be a location is released from a campaign leaving a spot to fill, a hold expires on for a location on the campaign or dates on a location on a campaign have changed enabling availability.
Click on Book to assign these locations to the campaign.
Multiple candidate locations
Click on as many check boxes for locations as necessary then click the Book icon in the lower right corner. If all locations are to be booked click on one location and then click on the Select All
icon in the top right corner.
You will get a pop up showing the campaigns dates and number of spots along with the initial status and the ability to Wait-list if overbooked.
You can change the dates and spots, if digital, if needed.
If Booked or On hold are chosen for the status then Wait-list is overbooked is an option.
On hold means it will assign the location(s) to the campaign with 72-hour hold. After which time the location's status will change to proposal.
Wait-list if overbooked will assign the location(s) to the campaign on the condition that its status will change to booked or hold if a spot becomes available depending on the initial status chosen. Conditions of this availability could be a location is released from a campaign leaving a spot to fill, a hold expires on for a location on the campaign or dates on a location on a campaign have changed enabling availability.
Click on Book to assign these locations to the campaign.
Avails filter
If you want to change the criteria click on the Filter icon in the top right corner. This will display a summary of the inventory that have been found for this campaign.
Choosing an item in one of these boxes will open another page giving you summary information on that selection.
Clicking the Apply icon in the lower right corner will then display these locations in a list.
To remove any additional filtering click on the Filter icon in the top right corner and click on the appropriate Remove icon(s)
to remove the filtering and display the original filter.
Removing locations and blacklisting
While looking at the list of locations you can remove any that you do not want to add to the campaign. These locations can either be removed from the current list temporarily or added to the blacklisted locations for the campaign. Removing a location from the list will not remove it from being available for this campaign. It only removes it from this current viewing of available faces. Blacklisting a location will remove it from availability for this campaign.
Choose the locations you want to remove or blacklist and click on the Remove icon in the top right corner . Click remove to remove these locations from the list or drag the Add to campaign blacklist slider
and then remove to have these locations added to the blacklist.
A location or locations can be removed from the blacklist by going to the blacklist page and choosing the location(s) and clicking on the Remove icon in the top right corner and clicking on remove.
Editing a booking
To change or update one or more bookings click the checkbox for the location(s) then click on the Update icon in the top right corner.
This will open a pop up for you to change the dates, spots and status of the location. Click on any of them to update the details as necessary.
For Dates and Spots change the information and click on Update to save the changes. For Status choose the new status - hold or proposal and the system will update the location.
Alternately, by clicking on one location you will be shown the details of the campaign and the location.
You can make changes to the dates and status of the location for this campaign. You can also look at the details of the location and the campaign.
Remove a booking
To remove locations from a campaign click the checkbox for the location(s) then click on the Remove icon in the top right corner.
This will open a pop up for you to either remove the location from the campaign or add it to the blacklist.
Ads
The Ads page you can select the ads to be displayed on this face. The Ad needs to be present on the campaign in order to add it to the booking. Click here for details on Media and Ads. If an ad is already listed on the booking, you can click on it to see the details.
To select an ad to display on the booking, click the . From here you will be able to select the ad to add to this booking. Please note that digital bookings can only use digital ads and static bookings can only use static ads.
After you select the desired ad, you can choose the start date for this ad to begin. If you want it to start from the beginning of the campaign, you can leave the date blank.
After clicking "Schedule" the information about this ad for the booking will appear.
Timeline
The Timeline page provides details on the scheduling history of a location.
It defaults to show the currently scheduled campaign.
By scrolling down the screen you will see future scheduling. Clicking on the up arrow shows the previous schedule. By continuing to click on the arrow you can see progressively more scheduling history of this location.
You have reached the end of the future scheduling when the end date shows "Until ...". Conversely, you have reached the end of the past scheduling for the location when the the up arrow disappears and the start date shows "... Until".
Filtering the Bookings List
Under the bookings tab of a campaign it is possible to filter the list of scheduled locations to show a subset of all the locations for this campaign. This is helpful if there are many locations.
Click on the Filter icon in the top right corner. This will display a summary of the inventory booked for this campaign.
Choosing an item in one of these boxes will open another page giving you more detail on that selection. For example Digital Posters:
Then clicking the Apply icon in the lower right corner to apply the changes.
To remove any additional filtering click on the Filter icon in the top right corner and click on the appropriate Remove icon(s)
to remove the filtering then click the Done icon
in the lower right corner.
