To enter invoicing data for a Campaign find the campaign from one of 2 ways.
- From the Sales Category, Campaigns find the campaign using Filter or Narrow down to find the campaign. click on the Billing icon
in the top right corner to take you to the Billing Campaign.
- From the Billing Category, Campaigns that may need attention click on the campaign, using the Filter or Narrow down to find the campaign which will take you to the Billing Campaign.
The details page will show you how much is to invoice, how much has been invoiced and how much is left to invoice. In Ad Manager Connect you can either set up recurring invoices or create a single invoice.
Recurring Invoices
You can set up a recurrence pattern to have Ad Manager Connect automatically create multiple invoices for you. To create a recurring invoice, go to the Recurring invoices page for the campaign's billing.
To add a new recurring invoice for this campaign, click the new () button.
From here you can specify the date of the next invoice for this campaign, along with the invoice period dates, as well as the number of invoices still to bill for the campaign. You can also add a filter to identify the bookings that are related to this recurring invoice.
Once you have finished setting up the recurrence pattern, click done ().
The recurring invoice pattern information will be displayed. If you wish to open the next invoice for this campaign, click Open Invoice ().
Single Invoices
If you want to create a single invoice, or create an invoice outside of the recurrence of the recurring invoices, go to the Invoices page to create a single invoice. Click on the Add icon to create an invoice.
Enter the date range for the invoice along with the invoice date. Enter any additional details in the description box. You can add additional filtering with the Add Filter button. Aside from Product, Digital and Segment any face custom attributes (those with an asterisk *) are available to filter.
Click the Create icon to save the invoice.
The invoice will be displayed in the list as a Draft.
Reviewing and Submitting Invoices
By clicking on the invoice you will see the details with the dates you entered along with any booking criteria you added along with specifics of the booking charges.
The Booking Charges page you can see the locations that are associated with the invoice.
You can click on a location to get more details about the location and the charges.
You can delete the invoice if it has not been submitted.
You can continue to make any changes to the invoice until it's been submitted.
To submit an invoice click on the Submit icon . Note: Once an invoice is submitted it cannot be undone.
Notes concerning Setting Up Invoicing
If the client does not have an account setup there will be a message to resolve this.
Refer to Setting up a Client for Billing on how to setup a client account. Once the account has been setup you will have to rebuild the invoice .
