Filler Playlists

Ad Manager Connect automatically publishes a Filler playlist for each Segment.  This Playlist can be used to fill the Segment with Content if it is not fully scheduled.

This Filler Playlist can contain as many media items as you want and can be changed as needed.  You can use single media items, Scala Messages, Scripts and sub-playlists. These media need to be uploaded to Content Manager directly. If you want to have a sub-playlist for any of these media you will need to create those as well.

Once the Filler Playlist has been populated the respective Segment Playlists will use them in the playback.  The system will automatically insert the Filler Playlists into the appropriate locations in each playlist; there is no further action required by the user.

These will be downloaded to the player and begin playing.
