Sometimes after making changes to the shading options in Ad Manager they do not save when the program is re launched. The user.dat file has become corrupt so it will need to be deleted.
Log out of Ad Manager.
Make a copy of the user.dat file from the C:\Users\<login username>\AppData\Roaming\Dot2Dot\Ad Manager folder on the machine, where <login username> is the user that is having the issue. This will allow you to restore customized views in the event the file is not the issue. If the connection to Ad Manager is through RDP then the file will be on that computer.
Delete the user.dat file.
You can log into Ad Manager as usual.
The user.dat file stores personal views of data and can be safely removed. If it is removed, Ad Manager will automatically create a new one, but the user will lose those views.
If the AppData folder is not visible then go to the View menu item, Options, Change folder and search options. On the View tab of the pop up change Hidden files and folders to Show hidden files, folders and drives. Click OK.
